TurboDLTorrents come to TurboDL
NewTurboDL accepts magnet links and .torrent files: paste the link, or click “.torrent file…” in the add window.
NewEvery piece is verified before being written. Pause and resume work, and sharing stops as soon as the content is complete.

Updates announce themselves
NewTurboDL checks for a new version at startup and then every 5 minutes, without getting in your way. With no network, it says nothing and tries again later.
NewWhen a version is found, the button at the top of the window turns green and shows “Update available” with the number. Nothing installs without your click.
The whole queue at once
NewWhen the browser sends several links, the add window shows how many are waiting and offers “Download all” and “Cancel all”, instead of going through them one by one.
FixedA link sent twice by the browser now enters the queue only once, and a cancelled link can no longer reappear.
Better on Linux and in Firefox
FixedOn Linux, closing your session or terminal now shuts TurboDL down cleanly: progress is saved and downloads restart on their own the next time it runs.
FixedOn Linux, the default folder follows the one set for your session (~/Téléchargements on a French system).
FixedIn Firefox, the “Paste” bubble no longer appears every time you click Add.

Your list survives crashes
FixedA power cut or sudden shutdown could erase the download list: data is now forced to disk before replacing the previous version.
NewTurboDL keeps a backup copy of the list and restores it if the file is damaged; a message lets you know and the damaged file is kept separately.
